Our championship golf course not only features a splendid layout with rolling terrain, creeks, lakes and abundant flora and fauna, but we have what many consider the finest practice facility in the greater Tampa metropolitan area. Hit a bucket of balls, schedule a lesson, sign the kids up for our weekly golf clinic or get fitted for that new driver by hitting a few balls off our in-house Titleist electronic launch monitor.

Our tennis center has eight, lighted clay courts, a full array of activities and instructional programs, tournaments, leagues and social mixers. Regular league play is a highlight at River Hills and groups of players form teams to represent the club in various competitions.

How about a swim? Our junior Olympic-sized pool is a hub of activity for recreational swimming, kids’ swimming lessons, full-scale competitive swim meets, or just a quick dip to cool off.

Just want to stay fit? Stop by for an early morning workout in our fully equipped fitness center. We have all the gear to get you in the best shape of your life, plus a staff of trainers who can design a fitness program especially for you.

For fine dining, meetings and club events, the centerpiece of River Hills is our beautiful, 13,000-square-foot clubhouse, surrounded by massive stone columns to give the building a true South Florida feel. Inside, you’ll see the stone column theme carried to a grand conclusion in the magnificent, soaring fireplace, a majestic background for a formal dinner, wedding or keynote speaker.

Established in 1989, River Hills Country Club began as a semi-private club at the center of the River Hills residential community. Through the years it has evolved into a private club that has earned a reputation for outstanding service and exceptional amenities. Our membership consists of residents from throughout the Hillsborough and Polk County areas.
